What is the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction, in very basic terms, is the prospect of like attracts like. What you put out into the universe, you get back. If you’re working on a high frequency, positive attitude, full of gratitude and open to receiving then the universe will listen and provide. Some people think of this as a higher, spiritual power and some just think of it as a sort of karma.

I once read that what you give out you receive back threefold which really makes a lot of sense to me. We often say things happen in threes and it is interesting to think if those things are positive or negative because we are subconsciously or even consciously asking for that energy to be sent back to us. I really do believe everything is energy and thoughts become things.

I know when I consciously make an effort to show gratitude, to visualise and affirm things I get better results. Now, this could be the law of attraction or it could be, in a way, a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy. If I want to set a goal, and I break it up into small chunks, and I put those small chunks into daily tasks on my to do list, I often reach that goal. I often spend time visualising the outcome of that goal and then I reach for it. Perhaps this is my mind pushing me and a way of motivating myself or perhaps it’s that karmic justice, that self belief and asking for what I really want.


I can’t explain how or why the law of attraction works and I’m not here to tell you that you have to believe it works either. What I will say is that if you want something enough, it isn’t enough to just want it. You need to be it, feel it, breathe it and believe you already have it. People believe in manifesting the life they want with thanks to the universe and the law of attraction. There are so many top business leaders that put their faith into the law of attraction that they believe they have already reached their goals and that makes them obtainable.


When we think something is unreachable, that is when we let fear in and fear is what stops us from stepping out of that comfort zone. Fear is what holds us back from our goals no matter how big or how small. Having faith in your own ability, believing that you deserve to reach your goals, well, that’s the first step into making them happen.

The Law of Attraction is all based on bringing back what you put out there. It’s about upping your frequency and working on a different level of self confidence, belief and taking imperfect action that gets you where you want to be. I have seen so many people completely run with a business, a dream, a goal and fly into a lifestyle that they used to dream off and that’s because they put these fundamental practises of the law of attraction into place – whether they believe it or not.

If we want to be the best versions of ourselves then I think practising the law of attraction is just going to benefit that. Like attracts like, raise your frequency and begin concentrating and working on those amazing and beautiful goals that you have.
